She began her business career as a clothing retailer and soon became an activist for plus-size women. In 1984, she launched Making It Big, a catalog company of stylish, high-quality, American-made, natural fiber clothing for big and beautiful women. Within five years, her company hit the million-dollar mark.

Cynthia built a profitable business on the foundation of her values and helped launch a new, high-demand industry. Growing a multimillion-dollar enterprise felt terrific, but what mattered most to Cynthia was that she helped plus-size women feel good about themselves and become more visible in the world.
In 2004, she sold her profitable company. It was time to move forward and devote herself to a new passion: supporting smart, ambitious women to get clear about their business vision, stretch to their full potential, and create well-managed, prosperous enterprises. She committed herself to helping women step into their professional power.
With a BA in Psychology and her initial MBA from the school of hard knocks and her second from Sonoma State University, the Biz Diva is an accomplished businesswoman as well as a trained facilitator.
